The best way to describe your bicep is that it has a short head and a long head.
You must work each head individually in order to have a full and defined arm.
The short head is best worked when performing arm curls with your palm facing up.
This exercise gives your bicep a more defined appearance having a muscle bulge when flexed.
You can do palm up arm curls either with a dumbell or with a barbell.
The long head is best worked when performing arm curls with your palm facing in with your thumb facing up.
This is commonly referred to as a "hammer curl".
This exercise will give your bicep a full appearance and will make your arms look very large. This particular curl is not designed to provide cuts or definition, but rather a huge overall look.
Do both of these types of exercises to give your arms a large as well as defined look.
